Cursed Eye Shot is the worst item in the game

Quite honestly the only item that should always be avoided at all items, this time is so garbage it isn't situational or good in any shape, way or form. It is the ultimate run ruining item, and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ depise it.

If you have other items that also require charging (Monstro's Lung, Brimstone, Chocolate Milk, etc.) then you will not be teleported when you take damage.

Any item that disables teleporting, playing as The Lost, knowing how it mechanically works and adapting to it, using it to teleport scum when you have reliable sources of health. I've come up with 4 reasons to grab it in less then a minute.

You can hate an item all you want, but you may want to learn to use it, if you don't want to waste items. Same could be said for a lot of items.

If you're good at the game, it has no downsides. It's a straight upgrade if you're not so bad at the game that you can't figure out to stop charging before you get hit

The issue with this statement, is BoI literally takes no skill to play and actually requires hardly any effort.

Actually, getting teleported when you're hit is a downside, that is the entire point of the item.

Yes, because obviously I have a reaction time of a millisecond. Another issue is, it isn't a straight upgrade, because argubly it doesn't provide much to the table besides shooting four tears which in itself doesn't do much damage anyway.

When you completely ignore this, what is the point of the thread in the first point? If you're looking for people to agree with you, and can't accept criticism, public forums aren't the best place. People are going to correct you, or give you advice.

If anything, you're the one that can't be taken seriously, when a little advice turns into the need to start slinging crap at people. Especially when you seem to miss the point of a single thing I said. You complain about an item being bad, I refute it, you claim none of it refutes it, because, why, you don't play that way? That's on you.

Also, I assume you don't know about The Lost? Admit it, the problem you have with cursed eye is the teleporting. It teleports you when you get damaged UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. The Lost dies from a single damage. Under most circumstances, Cursed Eye is a straight upgrade if you don't let it teleport you. That's not an unreasonable ask for many people, and the item actually ends up being high tier if used properly. Especially if you're playing a character that can't be hit once. Items change tiers situationally, as you play different characters or different difficulties.

You're the issue here, you started 'giving' advice when I was not looking for it and even made it clear I wasn't looking for advice. If I were, I would have said otherwise.

Your assumption would be entirely wrong.

That is my biggest issue, yes, however. The tear charging is complete garbage, on top of the fact that it hardly does anything in the long run unless you get huge, absolutely huge amounts of damage. Otherwise it is a complete waste.

That's with implication it is entirely controllable where it isn't possible to slip up. Almost every slip up has ruined my runs entirely, just because I picked up this garbage item thinking it would actually be useful this time.

People saying that the lost benefits from it are saying that people without legs benefit from not having shoes.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it for most runs. There are a fair number of bosses that are so fast and unpredictable that most people will be hit at least a few times (the bloat, the adversary, most of the endgame bosses, etc.), and getting teleported away over and over can easily end your run. Even if it doesn't, having to be so careful about charging it up probably negates any advantage it provides.

I would probably not get it unless you have an item that prevents teleporting while charging, or a really powerful attack that lets you roll over bosses in seconds.

Even getting teleported out of the bossroom once ends runs, I picked it up right before fighting isaac and I got an unlucky hit on me and bam, I just held R because the run was completely ruined.

I can understand some peoples troubles regarding the item, but it is far easier to manage.

I've never seen anyone ever complain about this item, why would they anyway? It is an amazing item.

Same as bob's brain, however I know how to control it's movement, so it isn't an issue for me.

It's an extremely situational item really.
