Wtf is with D6
Original: D6 is OP
Rebirth: D6 is a useless curse

My idea is keep the recharge and remove the special item debuff, the D6 is ment to reroll bad items into good ones, not make bad items into even worse ones. If a game dev reads this or anyone who can contact a game dev tell them to remove the special item debuff on the D6 since it basiclly makes the D6 pointless of having unless you already have %99 of the in-game items collected. So who else thinks the D6 needs this buff? I do.


EDIT: yeah it was just beginners badluck when unlocking a new item.

It has double the recharge rate now, gives you bad items most the time and now requires you to kill isaac to obtain. In addition when you start with it you can't drop it at all so isaac starts with a no good items at the start curse.

Does it actually have a weight to produce worse items, or is this just confirmation bias in action?

It counts as a special item now, so having it reduces the chance of other special items by quite a lot. Specials are pretty much all of the really good items (some exceptions). So no it's not confirmation bias.

Oh. Huh. You'd think that would be something he'd notice. What kinds of items count as special items?

Edit: Never mind. I found the list of special items. And seriously, you're complaining about a lower chance of getting 13 items out of all the ones this game offers? Yeah, it sucks that Brimstone might get rerolled, but not having to worry about getting nothing but HP-up items kinda outweighs that.

Heck, up until you get another one of them, you're still breaking even on getting them, since you get two chances at 50% chance for it to show up. Past that I think it'd be slightly worse, but you still have to have two of these items on you for that to happen.

mhmm must've been first few times me and my friends used it. I just used it and got the following: IPEAC + tiny planet (holy OP RNGSUS)

tons of dmg ups
good hp

best part: infestation 2 + IPEAC + DMG ups, r.i.p satan hello moms knife

Personally I feel the doubling of room charge is unwarranted. There are a bunch of indirect nerfs to it already, such as having twice as many items in the game and the item counting as a special item, drastically reducing your chances of getting anything else that's fun. Also, there are active items that aren't straight up trash anymore (head of krampus, Tammy's head, new candles, shears) If anything, I think a 4 room charge would have been more appropriate.
