BUG: Losing window focus
Almost whenever I launch the game it causes every single program window on my PC to lose focus (become inactive, f.ex. can't write in Firefox browser or Libre Office Word, game controls don't register) and randomly become active again or until I click the window in question.

The problem occurs only with Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and persists even after I exit the game. Only way of mending the problem is restarting my PC. There's some occasions when the game doesn't start the focus bug, but only rarely.

I am also having this problem, but I can not get it to go away

In my case, the problem was caused by "Start menu 8", application that emulates win7 style start menu in win 8.0. After I turned it off, everything was working well again.

I have this problem too. And if i want to stop the loss of focus when i use anything else (browser, any window opened), i have to restore the system to a time where TBOI wasn't installed. It gets really annoying to cannot play a game i bought.

Thanks a lot. The game now works without losing focus.

Hey guys, if anyone is still having this issue in Windows 8.1, try disabling Error Reporting.

It worked for me as it seemed to be the cause of the loss of window focus.
