Well I didn't check. I figured this isn't common, sue me.
Anyways, thanks for the help..
"Keyboard getting stuck randomly
This seems to mostly happen on the Logitech G110 keyboard, but others might be affected, too. Try to disable controller hotplugging.
You can disable gamepad hotplugging by changing "ControllerHotplug=1" to "ControllerHotplug=0" in the Options.ini file, which is located in your save data folder. Look at the top of this page for instructions on how to locate the save data folder on your PC."
Well, if you've posted this to many many people by now, I understand why you'd be cranky in the sense that "ugh another fool who never really bothered to check the sticky" but honestly, it's kinda unusual if your keyboard stops working in the middle of a game - never happened before, for a second I thought it was a problem with the drivers or the keyboard itself. It is not the sturdiest of keyboards in my opinion XD And I didn't think the game can legitimately mess my drivers up and disconnect the keyboard from the USB. You must admit, it's fairly uncommon.
And afterwards I tried without the controller in and it also stopped working which freaked me out in the middle of a challenge room, ugh.
But hey, the fix worked, so that's cool.
This only happened for me with Binding of Isaac Rebirth.
Although it started happening more and more often and now I've switched to a different keyboard, just about a week ago, actually.
For BOI:Rebirth the solution was that I disabled ControllerHotplug in the options.ini file.
In general however, I think the solution is to switch to a sturdier keyboard. Reconnecting to another USB Port helped, but sometimes I was still getting disconnects. It's weird, really.
My gf has KB-G255 and it did not have this problem.
I switched to some Logitech keyboard, specifically G105. But I've been checking out some possible new keyboard... but this one works just fine :D
