Go ahead and spoil things for me.
I've just been doing normal heart runs. What are some other things I should be working on.

Big tips? Bomb all rocks and mushrooms?

How do you put out the blue fire?

There are many tips, as a start you can put out blue fires by placing a bomb near them, they have a 25% chance to drop a soul heart too, which is generally worth it when you can get more than one blue fire with a single bomb.

After you kill the heart a few times you should unlock an alternate version of it. Defeating that boss gives you acess to 2 new areas, and beating those areas 5 times gives you access to the final 2 levels.

bomb X marked rocks. you need 100 of those for an unlock, which was the last unlock for me I beleive.

Bomb slot machines to unlock the D4

donate coins to the donation machine in the shop. when you reach 999 coins, you unlock The Watch, which slows down all enemies from that point forward when collected, and it can be bought in the shop.

Beat mom in under 20 minutes and beat the boss rush room with every character to unlock more itmes.

Beat Mom's Heart on Hard to unlock items, one per character.

If you get the green leaf and Daddy's Love, you win the game. just stand still and let daddy long legs kill everything.

Very nice. Thank you very much for the tips.

Anyone had much experience playing the game on mute? I only ask because there are some sound cues.

Mushrooms, when bombed, have a chance of dropping pills & trinkets. They even have passives, like Magic Mushroom. Pots also have a chance of dropping money & even the Quarter, if you unlocked it. But they also have a chance of dropping spiders.

The only problem when playing muted is the noise that make the mom's hand thing that drops from the ceiling, if you don't watch the shadow on the floor you're screw.
