Yeah, I get that but I feel like this one actually makes the game less fun while the others don´t. Also it seems to pop up all the time, like once a run.
Why?
How will it make me better? As I said, this really removes one layer of the game rather than add one.
I guess that´s a way to look at it too, although you don´t necessarily make the same decisions all the time depending on the synergies it would have with your current items, if you could see the item, but yeah I get your point.
That one is beneficial if you´re going for an iron man achievement and you have an emperor card though.
It was even worse in WotL. All this AND it cheats you out of an unlocked treasure room on the first floor. At least now it stays open. Curses suck in general, and should have been left to die in WotL.
This. I've unlocked everything (including all The Lost's stuff) except for PG/RPG so I think I'm in an alright position to criticise what's bad about the game and I agree that Curse of the Blind makes the game less fun with no novelty benefit (e.g. like Curse of the Maze) although I hate Curse of Darkness more than all the other curses.
But yes, post any critical opinion whether it's valid or not and every neckbeard apologist will be in here to give their spin on how wank ideas are good just to fellate the devs. Unfortunately.
