Judas' Shadow and Achievements

I finally got around to clearing Hard Mode as Judas and incidentally got Judas' Shadow and went Black Judas early on managing to clear it all the way to the Chest. I didn't unlock any of Judas' achievements though yet it does show the hard mode red outline around the completion symbols on the character select screen for Judas.

So can anyone else corroborate if Black Judas does count towards Judas' achievements? I know the wiki says so but...I guess I'm disappointed that I'll probably have to do it again. Oh well, at least I finally got Red Candle unlocked during that run.
