Death Tarot Card and Bosses

Does the Death Tarot card work on bosses? Because everytime I save one for Mom, or It Lives, or Satan, it doesn't seem to do any damage. I just used it against the Lamb and I watched his health bar when I used it and it did nothing.

Or does it do so little that I might as well not bother saving it?

Yea, the death card might do a bit of damage, and it does insta-kill Pip and Larry junior, but only a chaos card can insta kill any boss or monster without fault,

If you were wondering what a chaos card is, its a card that is thrown at an enemy, (unlocked by some challenge) and instantly destroyes that enemy. Usually you would want to save it for a tough boss, like the Lamb or Mega Satan

I'm not expecting insta-kills or anything, just some damage. Even a 1/4 damage maybe? But it seems to do nothing.

The death card does a set amount of damage to each enemy in the room. Multi-segemented bosses take damage for each segment they have

It's specialized in clearing rooms of low-health targets, if you want a singletarget nuke you want the High Priestess card or, as mentioned, Chaos Card.

In the original game, the Death tarot card did 40 damage to all enemies in the room. The Lamb, Satan, It Lives, etc. have a LOT more health than just that. It does do damage, but hardly any at all, unfortuneately. Hope this helps!
