Any point in Boss challenge rooms?

Since Boss challenge rooms dont give any items any more what is the point in going inthem since they are harder than normal challenge rooms and basically the same or do they give something that Im not sure of yet?

I have gotten an item from boss challenge rooms multiple times maybe you should do the same before you post, because they don't give items. Or better yet, just don't post at all.

You probably should have clarified that you meant things like stat-ups and tear modifiers, not random grey, gold and red chests.

Guys really? I think what the original poster meant was that you don't unlock anything special anymore with them say why bother. The other guy who told him to google first thought he meant normal items you pick up, which the room does give and it can boost your run if you're fast on your feet. Take a forget me now and chill out guys.

You didn't unlock anything for completely boss challenge rooms :/

item pedestals are rare in the boss challenge rooms but they do exist... also red chests contain items and also golden chests.... if you are trying to go guppy.. boss challenge rooms that have 3 red chests are good way to become one... also if you have abundance rune you can make those 3 red chests into 6 and multiply your chances for an item

You pretty much have to do them in hard mode, that's one of the only way to have a chance of getting a key.
