Bible vs Satan?

in wrath of the lamb using the bible while in battle with satan you took 12 hearts damage. does this still work? also what happens if you use it against the lamb or mega satan?

I used the Bible against Satan and instantly died, don't know how much health I had but I'm still salty.

Hey, if you used it on the Mom fight, the Halo was worth a run, imo.
And, now you know not to do it next time. Maybe not the best way to lose a run, but at least Isaac is replayability central.

I don't think bible has any effect against Lamb or Mega Satan, could be wrong tho. Also you still insta-die using it against Satan or Isaac, not certain if you can mitigate the damate anymore either.

Using Bible against Isaac doesn't kill you. Just gives you wings as usual.

If you have the Wafer, using the Bible on Satan won't kill you but will do half a heart of damage.

Honestly no, but I've heard many people say it works and it's in the wiki as well.

I saw it in the wiki, then it was gone some time later, so I don't know what to believe. When I actually ended up with the Bilbe and the Wafer, I was too cowardly to try it for myself.

I used the bible during isaac and didn't die, but the flight was ♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless, nothing to fly over :P

Because there's been conflicting information. (With the Wafer) It still kills you, or it kills Satan, or it does nothing, or it does half a heart, or t does 6 hearts, etc.

well they didnt change much so bible is useless against any bosses besides mom
