Book Of Revelations not spawning Horseman BUG?

seem not to work 100% of time example i didnt found horseman in basement 1 and in basement 2 after using the book i faced the haunt... same in depth 1 i faced the dark one so wtf bug or intended not to be a 100% horseman in rebirth

Edit: It would be harsh on people if you not only didn't have a guaranteed way to face horseman and also even if you did manage to get 4 still only have a 12,50% chance of getting 4 of the same, not counting the chance to face against the headless horseman and conquest. So I think the BoR not giving a horseman (when a boss isn't set) is a bug.

You get one every two floors, Basement one, Caves one, Depths one, Womb 1.

I'm salty about not getting the fourth piece everytime I've spent 20 hours trying to either do book of revelation runs or breaking runs and it didn't work in my favor. It's the only acheivement I need for 111% the game.

like i said i was in basement 1 with book of revelation and still didnt worked... same for depth 1

well Wiki did, and in isaac 1 it did, idiot.

If The Book of Revelations is used at least once in a level, a Harbinger will replace the normal level boss.

i 100% isaac 1 aswell moron and yes its 100% of time exept for those criteria : XL floors, however, are not affected by this and will spawn normal bosses. Harbingers may still show up of their own accord.
If the boss of the current level is a set boss (Mom, Mom's Heart, It Lives, Isaac, ???, Satan or The Lamb) it will not be replaced. Similarly, if a Harbinger has already been fought in the current environment (e.g. if you activate the item in Basement 2 having fought Famine in Basement 1) the boss will also not be replaced.

btw this might be the awnser to my problem : If used several times on one floor (like an XL floor) it may also replace the boss on that floor with a normal boss instead of a horseman.

Keep in mind that the "wiki" is edited by normal ppl who play the game, a wiki not aways is 100% true, they tend to get more acuratte along the time, but since the game is somewhat new, dont trust everything you read there.

I would like to add that if the boss room is a big room, then you won't face a harbinger after using BoR. Just had this happen to me in womb 1 when I only needed one more ball of bandages for bandage girl ach :(

it was not a big room and still no harbringer twice for me =/
and im pretty sure in isaac 1 you could find them even in second stage if it was not Mom

i love whenever you're at level 3 bandage girl and for utero 1 you get mr fred as a boss, even though you used the book of revelations twice in the utero
