Is Eden supposed to suck so much? I know it's random, but it seems like it has like a 1% chance to give you a useable character. Every time I've tried using him I end up with a 1 in everything important, which makes the game not fun to play. Seriously, I'd rather put my balls in a vice than fight Duke of Flies with only 1 point in damage and shot speed.

I'm just wondering if something is bugged with it or is it supposed to crap out consistently terrible builds?

well eden is eden you have to pray to god to help you or just farm coins and reset until you feel is a good start

still made it down all the way to the womb though.

I just tried her again and got a 1 in everything except speed. So I'm like "whatever. I can do this." I go in the first room. Super Envy.

You know you can drop trinkets now, right? (Except for the tick, of course)

Finally got one. I started kind of weak, but practically everything I found was amazing. I ended up looking like a coal mining Wilford Brimley.

I started my first one with a Brimstone right when I unlocked him, I am the 1%! Seriously, while I am glad that my first try even got me into the Boss Rush Room and to Satan (Error-Room-Rush-Item!), that also means that I need to be lucky two more times... Considering however how the game difficulty first rises and then falls due to many rather useful unlocks (well, who would not be disappointed if there would be much more unwanted stuff), I am still playing through with other characters with the neat side effect of collecting more tokens

I got 45 Token without even trying to get them, finished The Chest and Dark Room with Eden in two runs (One for each). Eden is alright just like every other characters. The only thing you need with every character is a lucky run with good items and you're set. No matter what are the basic stats, everything is played with the items you get in game.

I find all starting items, bar the d6, suck (barring Azazel, because he's OP and he knows it).
Which makes Eden's "I could have anything" far superior to anything the others would start with, IMO. I got a Mom's Knife start, a Krampus Head start, a nearly-Guppy start (head and furball).

Don't be hating on Eden, Eden's great to me.

Personally i love eden runs. All my good runs come from that but maybe that's just luck.

What i like most is the true random starting stats and still making the best of it <3
