Why do people hate cursed eye so much?

Cursed eye is basically just a different version of chocolate milk, why do people hate it so much?
It also has great synergy with other items.
I had it, went into a dice room, got chocolate milk and triple shot, and now my charge shots would shoot 3 enormous tears, with 3 spreads of 5 tears from the cursed eye underneath it.
Every time I've had it I've won, so why do people dislike it?

Because if you find yourself in a tough fight you'll get teleported out of the room over and over again and the room will reset. I can't think of a situation where that would be wanted. Especially not at random.

If Cursed Eye didn't have the Cusre effect it would be a decent item.

The cursed eye can be worked around; Apparently it will only teleport you if you get hit mid-charge. Still, the benefits are outweighed by the negatives in my opinion.

The black candle is quite easy to get and will remove the downside of cursed eye. I had a relaxed run with monstro's lung+cursed eye(thought it would change something) and never got teleported anywhere, despite being hit while charging my shot.

I had no idea that the black candle could remove that curse. Are you sure about that? I thought the black candle only removed floor curses.

And I've had good experiences with the cursed eye. I got 20/20 once with a bunch of damage up with it and took it all of the way to the lamb. The trick is, like somebody said, to not get hit when you're charging. Given that the charge time is fast (in my experience) you just have to make sure you fire right after charging up.

I am not 100% sure about it, but I suspect there being a synergy between these two items. I have no idea how big the chance is to get teleported while having the cursed eye, but I got hit at least a dozen times while charging monstro's lungs and never teleported once, so I highly suspect this being the case.

Ah, that teleport effect was because of the cursed eye?
I never realised.
I do think that that's annoying, but I've never had it happen to me in a bossfight.

You are incorrect! Black Candle does not stop the Cursed Eye teleport effect. I know tthat for a fact.

The problem with Cursed Eye is that it teleports you while you are charging a shot, which during a boss fight, is probably all the time. Constantly having to restart a boss fight over and over again is a sure sign that you will die a very painful death. I advise everyone to avoid the Cursed Eye at all costs.
