Tip- You can bomb the donation box for coins.

Normal run and when I got to a shop I wanted to bomb the shopkeep/rocks for some coins but I hit the donation box as well and noticed it dropped coins by its total lowering. You loose a coin or 2 each time you take coins out of it but it's worth it to make certain you always have a way to buy anything in the shop if you have the bombs.

Very good for runs when you get explosive tears. Even works when you "break" the donation box by adding to many coins. You just wont know how many coins are in the box.

You can also reset the box if you do it too much in a run.

Considering there are unlocks, this just doesnt seem like a good thing to do till you hit 999

The coins that come out are taken from the total, lowering the amount in box and slowing down progress towards the next unlock. It actually lowers it by one more than what you recieve from bombing the box, so it is not even a fair trade.

If you are desperate for coins to buy an awesome item, I guess that it can be worth it, though.
