ny tips on the suicide king?

I need some tips,i just want to get this joke of a lazy challenge out of my way and so far some jokes of lazy esigned rooms ruined 2 good runs,any tips on how not to die immediatly?And yes i do know how to aim so i dont hurt myself.

Unlike in previous game, the ipecac shots do not travel over enemies, they explode on impact. Just run direct to enemies to make shots fly further and faster. If you hit your enemy — well played. If you missed — PANIC AND RUN IN CIRCLES!

Also pray for pyromaniac item.

Certain items, like Mom's Knife, can override the Ipecac effect. Consider unlocking a few items like that before attempting the challenge.

Like Julius said, Finding helpful items in devil rooms, shops, or golden chests do a good deal of help.

I just completed it, I'd recommend bombing the skulls in the depths/necropolis, they drop some good items, including The Rune of Algiz : Which gives you a full 30 seconds of invicibility, that carried me through isaac fight.
I also got the compass from the shop and guppys head in a golden chest that gave me a bit of a boost

The change in IPECAC actually makes the challenge pretty easy honestly. Since the shots explode over an enemy instead of flying over them, you just have to get better at aiming your shots. You still need to be careful and understand momentum, though, but it's not too bad.

Now that i did it here's my tip,restart until you get moms knife/brimstone/ tammys head in a curse room.Then just try not to die.
