I hope both of you noticed the "Theory" part on the title... What were you expecting him to talk about if not his own interpretation of the game's backstory? Theorize about gameplay? The video is fine for what he wants to do with it and honestly, I fail to understand why you were expecting something different.

I personally really like the games story, and the gameplay, now that I think about it pretty much everything about this game is awesome.

Just because you don't enjoy something or you don't see the reason for it to exist, that doesn't mean everybody has to share your opinion. Some people enjoy stories and theories about them when they aren't clear enough, others don't. Since you belong to the second group, why were you even watching that video?

1. No, I like story, it's just the story seems off to what the game is.
2. I never said everyone had to hate the video, I said I didn't.
3. I thought it had the possibility to be good.

1. Almost every single player game has a story and this one certainly does as well. The intro video shows just that. You don't just randomly spawn into the rooms with no reason. You go (or imagine you do according to the video) down there in order to save yourself.

2. When you create a discussion title stating that the theory is BS, you don't exactly show that you want a civilized conversation about each person's point of view and if they agree or not. It shows that you state your opinion and you are open for a flame war with anyone that enjoys it.

3. You say on your first point that you don't feel this game needs to have a story deeper than what the into shows. You also mention in previous reply that you don't care about the story in this game and that all you want is to kill mom. When you approach a video about a game's backstory, believing that the game doesn't need one, you can't seriously expect to like it.
