Platinum God (basic)

OK, to the best of my knowledge, I've done everything that can be done without unlocking The Lost. My collection screen is only missing Isaac's Heart, The d100, The Body, The Mind, The Soul, and the Godhead. The Lost has not been unlocked, but I've done everything else (except kill Mega-Satan with characters other than Isaac, ???, and Azazel, but I understand killing Mega-Satan more than once doesn't (yet) count for anything).

So, why didn't it unlock when I picked up that last item?

Yes, Super Bandage Girl, Super Meat Boy, all the no-damage achievements, all 20 challenges, and just about everything else I can think of. According to Steam, I'm only missing 10 achievements, which, by my count, should be all The Lost ones, plus Platinum. I'll make my profile public so you guys can see.

Also, Spanner, secret room items?

I've checked, and now I have only 2 options: you don't have all endings (but I doubt that, you say you have beaten Mega-Satan multiple times) or you need also to unlock The Lost.

I personally already had The Lost when I unlocked the Platinum God, so I can't tell.

Don't forget you have to TOUCH the items unlocked.

If you have more than six undiscovered items (D100, Isaac's Heart, Body, Mind, Soul, Godhead) in your collection grid, then you know you're missing something. As the poster above said, you need to actually pick up the item to register it in your grid, not just unlock it.

Yes. You must pickup the items to discover them.

He is talking about the "collection screen", and items don't appear there if you haven't taken them... that is he has touched them.

Those items counts only toward the Real Platinum God, not Platinum God.

I have searched for guides here and there, they seem to agree saying that The Lost isn't needed.
(it also makes sense)

Maybe what Whitelink is pointing out is true and another item is hiding from you?

Yes, I've been picking up the items. I was expecting to see the Platinum God achievement when I picked up Undefined. When it didn't show, I thought maybe the run had to end, but it didn't show when I got myself killed (I was being careless).

I have just noticed that something doesn't match: you have 168 achievements but only 167 secrets.

You should check the secrets to see which one is missing.
