They kind of are... I thought they were at least OK in the original game, even if devil rooms were better, but there's been too many crap items added to the angel pool while the devil pool has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mostly great new stuff.

I've been doing Eve runs, I would gladly trade those three soul hearts for some freakin damage ups. I haven't been lucky enough to find sacred heart.
