shell game
Something I've been wondering since the first game..

Does it matter which shell you pick or is it just a flat chance to get it right?

On the first game is random. On the second one seems to be random as well.

It's just a guess. No way to follow where the item will land.

I don't know if I worded my question well enough, but what I want to know is after the guy shuffles the skulls, do any of the three skulls present a greater chance of winning or is does it just do a dice roll to decide if I win or not?

I would like to know this as well. Should I just randomly bump into the middle one, or should I choose differently?

It's completely random, like a dice roll. Stat wise, you have a 50% chance (approx.) of getting the item under the skull with the lucky foot equipped.

That's a really good question. For anyone still confused, he wants to know if its 1 skull is 100% chance to win, other 2 are 0%, or if all skulls are 1/3 chance to win.

Yeah this is what I'm getting at. The reason I ask is that picking one of the side skulls sometimes results in weird movement glitches that cause me to get hit by the fly. As of now, I always pick the middle one because my feeling is that it doesn't matter.

If you play as Cain, you'll instantly notice that the item location is not predetermined.

Okay. Thanks. That's what I wanted to know.

I always went between the skulls and slots in the first game. Bump slots, bump skulls, bump slots (pick up item, somethings), bump skulls (pick up item sometimes), etc. I jsut picked whichever one I hit first :P
