Two questions
I just got the pertefied poop. Does it do anything?
Secondly I shot this rainbow poop. After the rainbow and cute sound, is that all?

Petrified poop increases chances of getting stuff from poops, and rainbow poops restore your health.

rainbow pool apparently fully heals you (red heart containers only)

the petrified poop trinket makes poop far more likely to give items when destroyed.
