Can't put in seeds

I go to New Run, press tab, put in a seed, and then it just goes "bzzt" and sends me back to character select.

Started a 5 games, looked at each seed, saw no consistent format other than they were all 8 characters long.

Am I missing something?

just mix Letters and Numbers. I believe I, E and O can't be used for letters. If it does do a buzzer noise that means it's not a proper seed.

THAT was my problem, thank you! I was using I and E in my seeds. Will try again. I assume you can use 1s and 3s?

I would assume so yes, the letters aren't allowed since they look so similar to numbers.

Back, was not my problem.

I put in the seed TY26 JL48 and it didn't work.

Some Seeds just don't work, just imput another one.
