Items in store can't be picked up?

I go into the store thinking like in he old version ou just walk over the item to buy them, now nothing happens, is this an issue or is ther a key you have to press?

Well it let me buy a soul heart just now, but the battery which is the exact same price it refused to do anything now...

the battery @5coins ~ is not the battery you know, it's a consumable that recharge an used activable item, if there is no charge used you will not be able to pick it : )

Could you have used the battery? The battery is an item that recharges your current useable item.

If you don't have an item, or it's fully charged, you won't be able to pick up the smaller batteries.

Yeah its the battery, I thought it was weird because I'm used to the old game where you buy the battery and etc and thought it was realy weird i couldn't pick it up, thanks and yes my name is from the show Superjail! lol.
