As a Platinum God, it's easier because the items are stronger. Hard Mode is about the same difficulty as default BoI. And remember, Mom is a joke.

I wouldn't call that a serious accomplishment though, especially if you've spent a considerable amount of time with the first game. It's 100%ing the game that's the real challenge.

It defaults to normal mode, so if you're finding the game too easy, that's probably why. Change it to hard mode, and I guarantee that getting to Mom will be no easy task.

Killed mom in my first Run, then died in the second and in the third i found a secret room in the mom level that took me to the next level where was mom's heart, so i got mom and moms heart in only 3 runs.

Mom's Heart got an incredible boost. Why the hell is anyone bragging about beating regular ol' Mom, though? Fools.

Hard mode in Rebirth is the same difficulty that was default in the original Binding of Isaac.

I'm pretty sure it was balanced so that normal is the same difficulty as the original. Have you unlocked Everything Is Terrible yet?

normal is the same difficulty as BoI hard just adds more curses more champions and no hearts from boss kills

I just killed Mom's Heart the fifth time and got "Everything is Terrible!!". It made the game even harder than it is.

All these people crying about how the game is easy are always the t­wa­ts who killed Mom (which is unarguably the easiest boss in the game) once and think that's the game.

3rd play though already beat mom's heart boss, this took me ages in the first game, so..I popped in the orignal, and beat satan first go. It seems difficulty is not the issue for me, too much practice on the first game is. Ahh well there is always hard difficulty mode. I played a bit on hard mode, I would say it is harder than vannila BOI but perhpas not with the dlc it recieved. So normal difficulty is only a tad bit easier to me then BOI vannila and Hard difficulty is harder than vannila but on par with the added difficulty it recieved with the wrath of the lamb dlc. Overal its so feakishly random of a game, difficulty is just like the frist one, extremely variable depending on drops. If you beat the snot outt of the original though, then play on hard.
