Dead Baby
What is this? Just seems to float around next to me, but does not seem to injur the enemies. Looks white with...maybe stiching?

Spawns blue flies that fly into enemies and cause some damage.
Well, actually, it hasn't done that yet, but I randomly had the Necronomicon animation flash on my screen and kill all the enemies, and I do not own that item or any other that would do that(just Sweet Heart and Petrified Poop and Dead Baby)

That sounds like the Dry Baby. He does the Necronomicon thing sometimes.
I must have misread it when the name popped up then :p
its not random its when he takes a certain amount of damage/tears he procs the necronomicon

Yep, that's him. I had him a few runs back.

The zombie baby that spits flies is amazing. You get a new fly for every enemy you kill I think. At least, I did when I did the challenge where you have the fly and spider items. Almost as good as guppy - plenty good enough to complete the challenge.

there's one that basically works like my best friend without the explosiveness or damage dealing, just putting it out there, imo that one does literally nothing, except kiting when he gets lucky.
So.... Much... Ignorance... In... This... Thread!!!

Dry Baby, the one-leg-missing skeletal white one, blocks all tears/bones/projectiles that would hit it. If it is hit, it has an approx50% chance to Necronomicon, which is hilarious in bullet-spam bosses like Isaac or It Lives.

Infested Baby fires a blue fly. When that fly dies it fires another blue fly, ad infinitum. Doesn't matter if you're firing it at another fly and killing it, or firing it at Satan and him just laughing the hit off, it fires a new one.

Too-Damn-Much likely is talking about Punching Bag, whose kiting is FAR better than the usable item, though it does not explode, it can keep even Satan occupied for a while.

Not all babies block projectiles. In fact, most of them don't.

It's actually Rotten Baby, not Infested Baby. Even the game says so.
