Just beat Moms heart first time DEVIL ROOM

Okay im super excited i just beat moms heart for the first time,


I even got a devil room with a lader down!!!


what do i do?


Should i go into the chest or the devil room?


what should i do to unlock the most stuff, idk if I will ever have a run this good again

Personally, if you haven't gotten all the endings yet, I'd just go for the chest.
But hey, that's just me. If you want to go for Sheol then soldier on ahead. Though bear in mind you won't get the ending in that case.

I wouldn't go. I stupidly went to Sheol on my first Mom's Heart win also, and I got wrecked really fast. You'll just ruin a good win. Id just open the chest and not worry about Sheol right now, unless your character is super OP.

Going down the ladder gets you to Sheol and the boss fight with Satan: you still unlock the first ending if you go down there, but you'll unlock another item by beating Satan. So go for it! Make sure you have plenty of spirit and black hearts.

Also that item you have there is The Breath of Life: it seems kind of unreliable from what I've seen of it, so don't rely on it.

You get the ending and the item even if you go down the ladder to the sheol and die. You would be stupid not to

So if I kill moms heart, and i dont go into devil room instead of chest, If i die in sheol, do i still get the unlocks from beating moms heart?


Are you sure nothing to lose, no risk to going into sheol and skipping my first chest?

Got Devil deal too, of course I went down to Sheol: that way I unlocked everything in one run.

The ending and unlock for beating mom's heart are unlocked anyway...

Had been there on the original and thought "Meh, my character is pretty beastly, I'll just dive right down" here in Rebirth and it'll be "k" - Cleared it relatively quick (despite a few hairy moments) then noticed a unique hole opened in the wall in the same place as the next stairway toward Satan level after killing the boss, so I rushed right in to see what it was all about.

You can imagine my blind surprise when the room then forced me to fight 12+ main bosses (in twos) for 4minutes straight.

It's little 'new' surprises like this that make me love this whole thing - Very nearly shat myself more than the Fatty Boss does. As for OP, once you nail bosses that unlock endings, it's usually safe to continue down even if you think you may fail. Above mentioned playthrough (which netted me a Satan kill), I checked later on and noticed I had an ending unlocked that I didn't see (due to continuing rather than going for the chest to end the run).
