But yes you should take this advice if you find a eternal heart.
I've put less then 20 hours on the original and a fair amount (by that i mean kinda small) on the new one, but i've read lots of wikis and gotten lots of tips from a few of my friends which are Platinum gods on the first one and have already started zooming towards the rebirth one, so i can transfer the tips from them to you, or just give you general tips of stuff that i do know. Just add me so we can message each other to make our lives a lot easier with the messages.
Awesome, thank you.
So any of the silver or black hearts should just be picked up on sight?
EDIT: Sorry didn't see your earlier post about correcting, ignore part of this one.
The ones I am talking about are apparently called "Soul Hearts".
Alright, so the only ones I should hold off on when I see them are the Eternal Hearts... got it.
You guys got any other useful info other than stuff pretaining to hearts?
--various rocks will have a small "x" on them and are a slightly different shade... almost blie/purple-ish..... if blown up they can give some pickups (coins hearts bombs etc)
--Arcades with the "shell game" in them (imo) are wonderfull sights.... the shell game has the possibility of giving the item "Skatole" which makes all "basic" flies not hostile and without damage. I say basic because the "boob" flies still expplode and the red boom flies still pop.
--The rooms with the spikes in them are sacrifice rooms. if you run over the spikes you have a change at getting something (to be honest I use them so rarely I dont know xD )
--keep moving... lots of homing enemies adn LOTS of things that shoot right at you. movement is your friend.... unless you are moving too fast at which point youre likely to head but an enemy ^_^
I don't recommend using these rooms.
Glad you brought up the "sacrfice" rooms.. the ones with the spikes. I dont understand these at all and when I see them I just exit and go about the game.
