"gimpy" Robot head item?

Anyone know what this item does, I believe it was called gimpy. It makes isaacs head appear to be a robots. But so far I have not discovered what it does.

Damage you take has a chance to spawn hearts I believe. It should've mentioned suffering something or another

Damage has a chance to spawn a soul heart.

Also it's a Gimp mask.

It's a gimp mask used for erotic purposes. Not a robot head.
Notice the zipper at the mouth?

And it makes so that you have a chance to either get a soul heart or a demon heart after taking damage, it also makes it so when you kill an enemy there is a chance a 1/2 heart will spawn.
