Samson?

I unlocked Basement Boy but I didn't unlock Samson? I thought it was beat two levels without taking damage to unlock him

you need to skip 2 items from streasure rooms and kill mom. at least that was the condition in tboi:wotl

its not that anymore you can see what you need to do to unlock a character by looking at it in the character selection screen

I got samson without beating mom... First time I got bastement boy, restarted and did it again and got samson. as was stated, I think the chivo takes presidance over charicter unlock :)

I got basement boy and samson in the same run, after clearing the same floor so it's not necessarily prevented by the achievement, and certainly not running the old requirements for unlocking samson. maybe the reason it worked for me is because I left the boss room to go clear the floor before I remembered i was there specifically to unlock samson?

Yeah, got Samson when I should've got Mama's Boy as well... Not too thrilled about it, but meh, it happens. Not too frustrated about it since it's a game I like, anyway.

Yup. Got a bunch of the [whatever] Boy achievements yesterday, but no Samson. (Ludovico + Azazel's little Brimstone-like thingy is too stronk!) Will try again and see if it unlocks the second time around.
