How will this game run on a toaster?
Binding of Isaac 1 runs pretty crap-tastically on my toaster, so I was curious if this was going to run any better.

well, if the original always ended up burnt to a crisp, then rebirth should only be a little on the scorched side, but not so bad that it would be difficult to digest.

Well BoI normally runs on my blender, I think it might easly work on your toaster.

There's a fair chance it'll run better because it won't be on flash.

Last time i tried playing a game on my toaster, the game was fried. This would make sense if i was playing on my deep fryer, but it's unusual for it to happen with my toaster.
I think it may be time to throw out the old Toasterbox 360 and go buy a Toasterbox One.

are you serious?
you didnt even gave us your toaster specs.
how the hell should we give a reasonable answer without that?

the first TBoI was made in flash, which caused 100% of the lag and framerate issues. apparently Rebirth runs super smooth (60fps too), you can even adjust graphic settings in the options. it's been said many times that it runs way better, wouldn't worry about it if I was you.

You should upgrade to an oven.

I checked the specs in comparison to my microwave and it's turns out I can run it, so you'll probably be able to run it on your toaster :happymeat:

I've been following Edmund's blog religiously, and I do remember something about this game running way better. Like, WAYYYYYYYYYY better. Either way, I think OG isaac just wasn't toaster-optimized.

On a serious note the game is has 16-bit pixel art and is written in C++ instead of flash, so it will run MILES better than the flash version did.
