Just because you like it doesn't mean everyone else does or has to. And no, smoothly drawn graphics are not for crappy internet games. That makes no sense.
I don't see how the original visuals were childish seeing as how this game is a remake and has all the same visuals only now in pixel form. And I can care about visuals in any game. I also am not talking about the graphics, I'm talking about the art style.
Which in a way works well, since Isaac is a child. There is an odd synergy there.
I really don't care either way. I have somewhat poor eyesight so the two, frankly, look fairly similar to me when everything is flying around and in motion. Oh yeah, pause, zoom in 10x, and highlight, then I can see it all, but if the creator wanted it this way, well, he's the creator. Vote with your wallet if it matters so much to your better eyes. My bespectacled face doesn't mind either style.
You're just gonna have to deal with graphical improvement.
