Preorder Bonuses

I heard there are certain items only available to those who preorder and that the developer is releasing new bonuses periodically. I have two questions.
1. Will I get the ones already announced if I pre-order now or can I only get future ones?
2. If I gift a copy to a friend, will he get the bonuses?

yeah, you will get every preorder bonus (tf2 items and discount). all the items teased by Edmund will be in the game, they're not preorder bonuses, just items of the game.

The TF2 hat is the preorder bonus (as well as the discount if you own the original game).

The Monstro item is a normal item available to everyone, regardless of preorder.

You can preorder Rebirth at any time prior to release, and you will get the bonus TF2 hat.

As far as I am aware, there is no difference between a preorder purchase for yourself and a preorder purchase as a gift. You may want to wait for a more certain answer from someone else though.

What Monstro item?...

The ONLY Pre-Order Bonus is the Brimstone Horns.

If you are talking about Monstro's Lung, that is going to be an item in game for the characters to use. It isn't a pre-order item.

Yeah I thought it was an ingame exclusive item. Sorry for misunderstanding that. And it sounds like the gift copy comes with the tf2 bonus from what you guys are saying. Thanks everyone.
