Fullscreen, gamepad support, etc...
Ed even spoiled the "filtering" options: there'll be a "flash filter" that will make the game look "less pixelly", closer to the original flash look.
Hey, Ascii games are great! Though, Ascii isn't used to program applications like you do in Flash, C++ (And the other hundred langauges I can't be arsed to name) if that caused any confusion for you.

No, but it's good to know what the engine is because then I can have an idea what to expect out of the game in terms of bugs, performance and the "feel" of the gameplay in general.
But I wouldn't consider engine as a leading factor when I decide to buy the game.
