The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

8GB of RAM recommended?
No other game recommends this much RAM, not even Crysis or The Witcher 2 (or 3), why does a 2D game need such obscene amounts of RAM to run well?

I am of course assuming that the recommended amount of RAM is wrong.

Next gen poop physics.

Its wrong. If you can run the normal binding of isaac, you should be able to run this one better.

No other game has poop physics either. Coincidence? I think not.

Dead Rising 3, Watch_Dogs, CoD Ghosts to name a few on the top of my head.

I beg to differ.

Either way, like pointed out:

Those three games are just no. DR3 has very bad performance, Wash_Hogs has very bad performance and CoD is just bad in a nutshell.

I just pointed out games that 'recommend' 8GB; I didn't say they're not optimized poorly.

It's funny that you'd quote The Witcher 2, which has a big orange box on the store page saying "System Requirements: Requires file system support for files up to 8 GB". And I expect The Witcher 3 to require no less.

On the matter at hand, it will probably run on way less RAM. 4GB should be just fine.

That warning is referring to HDD formatting, most likely that FAT32 isn't supported. It isn't referring to RAM. You need to use a HDD format that can handle file sizes of 8GB and larger or else the game won't install.
