Familiars/orbitals that block enemy shots

I looked for this in the guides and couldn't find it - I was wondering which babies/familiars/orbitals block shots?

For example, I died just now with the Lost thinking that little stevie blocks enemy shots (but he doesn't) and I love mongo baby and dry baby because obvioulsy they do - is there a list somewhere that says whether different orbitals block shots or not?

I tried the usual guides and I suppose I should just assume that if it doesn't say the item blocks shots, it doesn't - but I was wondering if there is a clearer guide/list somewhere.

Mongo Baby does initially not block shots. The gimmick with mongo baby is that it gains the abilities of the OTHER familiars. So in order for it to block tears, you need dry baby.

Also, Mongo Baby or Dry Baby are NOT orbitals, they are familiars. Save for those (and you do need Dry Baby for Mongo to also block), no other familiar will block tears.

Pretty flies, cube of meat, ball of bandages, biggest fan, trinity shield, and guardian angel are all "orbitals", and are the major things you want to get for blocking tears. Trinity shield is unique in that it will always block in the direction you fire, but functions much like the other orbitals.

2 things that also block tears, that the guy before me didn't mention are Guppy's Hairball and Samsons Chains. Also the Sacrificial Dagger is another Orbital that blocks tears.

actually sac dag has high damage but its one drawback is it moves shot blockers out of the way but doesnt block shots
