Deals with the Angel

Why does everyone shart all over Angel Rooms? Polaroid Invicibility doesn't matter with 12 full red hearts, you can get free items like Dead Dove, Godhead, and Sacred Heart, and you can get two item pedestals (counting the reroll of the Angel's Key Piece.) I know Devil Deals have things like Mom's Knife, Brimstone, Pact, etc. - they can also have Brother Bobby (technically worse than Ghost Baby, mind you), Missing Page 2, and Goathead on Womb 1.
tl;dr Angel Rooms are underrated as hell and I wanna know why D.w.t.D's are sooooooooooooooo much better.

Decisions of the player. If they want a brimstone, they go for a devil deal, if they want a god head or sacret heart, they skip devil deals and go for angel deal.

It is a lot less likely to get anything of worth in an angel room than a devil room.
Devil rooms give 3 to 0 items, angel rooms give either 1 item or nothing.
As well, more items in Devil rooms are worth it. Mom's knife, brimstone, abaddon, etc etc.

Would you rather get Abaddon, the mark, and brimstone, or 3 soul hearts, the dead sea scrolls, and holy water? The only way to get those worthwhile angel room items are to get a game-breaking run, where as the chance of getting a worthwhile devil deal item is EXCEEDINGLY high.

Because having a chance of getting Breath of Life, Dead Sea Scrolls, or The Bible isn't very tempting and since those show up INCREDIBLY often if it's not 2 Soul Hearts or 3 Spirit Hearts is kinda infuriating.

Devil Deals just have a much better chance at paying out with something useful, there are very little items in the Devil Rooms that are just bad compared to the good ones.

Oh, forgot Guppy for Devil Rooms. Also, as I said, as long as you have a reroll and enough damage to take care of the Angels, you could make use of two available item pedestals. Devil Deals also usually have three red chests, best things to come outta those are mostly Guppy items and spirit hearts. Don't get me started on the spiders and troll bombs.

Only reason to go after Angel rooms I ahve found is when you need to do it for something specific. (ie. Unlock and item, or achievement). LOL

If you are playing as The Lost, or Azazel they have almsot no real value becaue you can already fly.

At least in the Devil rooms if you can fly you can still get Guppy as well, which is an OP as hell upgrade imo. Plus the Devil Rooms have way more DAMAGE upgrades, which are the most important stat in the game for me.

I personally prefer angel room over devil deals.. angel rooms items are cool and unique.. items form devil pool you can also get from red chest or by rerolling in curse room.

But I think angels rooms can be annoying to... 3 soul hearts or 2 eternal... such a waste.

Angel/devil rooms should have a donation machines inside just to have guaranteed at least one item every time. sin hearts in devil room, soul in angel to donate. But its just a dream...

It is Personal Prefrence... or it depends on what devil deals show up and if you want to ignore them, or not.

Angels are almost always less worth it.
Until you get The lost unlocks they're even worse.
Devil rooms have a absurd amount of 'good' items (mom's knife, brimstone, etc) and red chests devil room is rare-ish. they can also have up to 3 items where angel rooms always have 1 (2 if you use the D6 angel reroll) plus, devil deal items make you look cooler.
Would you rather have Breath of Life, or Book of Belial, or Book of Shadows even?

It's not a personal preference, it's very obvious that the devil room is superiour to the angel room. The devil room provides extremely powerful upgrades at a small cost (losing a heart container or two isn't really that bad), and a greatly increased chance of getting a Guppy transformation. Note that you need to skip a devil deal as well to spawn an angel room, so there's even less chance of having a powerful run if you are going for angel rooms. Out of a pretty large pool of angel items, there are just a few that are really game-changing such as godhead, sacred heart, the wafer and holy mantle.

And there is Dead Sea Scrolls, Breath of Life, and Holy Water (probably more bad ones i'm not thinking of). Pretty much all of which are bad. And you are likely to get something worse in a angel room then you would in a devil room unless you're super ultra lucky.
Devil rooms have more good items then angel rooms. They're better.
Brimstone or Mom's knife better then holy grail and guardian combined too.

The holy mantle is also in the item room pool and the trinity shield is basically just infamy, which you find every other run.
