Binding of Isaac or Rebirth easier?
Anyone feels that rebirth is easier in comparision to binding of isaac? I sure think it is easier though...

It feels easier, but it might be because I have played the original binding of isaac for many hours so I just may be used to the game along with having a controller.

it's mostly the same game, mechanics-wise, so jumping right into rebirth with so much experience playing the original is going to make rebirth feel easier, in a way. plus the controls and hit detection is tighter in rebirth.

haha yes, the only difficulty I had when I went into rebirth was the new room spawns + enemies.
but after that its fun times all around ^_^

Its hard to say. I would say that the original Isaac was easier - no stupid red chest devil deals, no unfair poor balanced bosses like haunt on cellar, no unfair enemies location - like wall spider if you dont have enough range, unlimited health, no curse of blind.. etc.

Rabirth is just more random sometimes to get carried, sometimes game just hate you and give you nothing useful which force you to reset.

In original almost every run is successful.

They're both easy but rebirth is undeniably easier. My win loss ratio is over 4x better in rebirth, granted I'm more experienced but once I got my first heart kill in the original it all seemed the same difficulty from then on. In rebirth there's only been one time where I haven't had enough range to kill a wallspider and no bombs and had to reset. I attribute the ease mostly to way more item synergies, but also bigger rooms, much higher chance of guppy and better items available from devil deal and angel items :tbpwink:

Rebirth seems a lot easier to me since the item balance got tipped a lot more towards the offensive side like with the number of new tears ups and Magic Freekin' Mushroom that you can regularly get from bosses.

In the original isaac getting nothing but HP, utility items, and range-ups felt a lot more common.

But at the same time, Getting Brimstone or Mom's Knife was almost guarenteed in an average Isaac run.

Rebirth feels easier, even on hardmode. I wish there would be a much harder difficulty mode.

I think it feels easier because we all played the original for so long, adapting to this one was just a matter of time

I think rebirth is easier.

Just remember that rebirth is "intended" to be played on hard mode. I'd say that rebirth is a lot more balanced. You get plenty of fun carry runs, but also plenty of crappy soymilk and red chest devil room runs.

in rebirth it feels a lot easier to dodge things. Projectiles are slower and easier to dodge and it feels like i have more room to manouver. that being said there's a lot of stupidly designed rooms with a "let's just fill the room with enemies to make the game harder" approach.
