Using seeds for ???

Hello all! I was just curious...if I use seeds to complete the requirements to unlock ??? (beating Mom's Heart 10 times) will he unlock or not?

There's a lot about this game that I find a tad confusing.

No. Seeds can not be used for any run involving an unlock.

what are the 1st 3 steps? The wiki only says you need to beat moms heart 10 times.

And do you unlock anything at the end of those runs? No? Then my statement stands.

He's talking about a different character. ???, also commonly known as Blue Baby, is unlocked with 10 mom kills.

Basically... no. A seeded run is one of those just for fun runs. You won't obtain anything period by winning one... because if you could... then why play a normal run when you could play back that one super OP run over and over with different characters?

As for what the other person was saying... one of the *ahem*... more unbelievably secretive characters, is unlocked through a very specific multi-stepped process that spans over the course of 4 seperate runs. Since the character would be unlocked at the completion of the 4th... it stands to reason that the last run can not be a seeded run (since you can't earn anything).

I won't go into any further details on that subject though.

Anyhow... just beat Mom's Heart 10 times in any normal run. If you beat her heart on Hard Mode, you'll unlock a follower baby item for completing it as that specific character.
