P.S. Did you play the seed?
It never matters what order you pick up items in.
(Also this is the key combo in your entire run: Dr. Fetus + Ipecac is incredibly strong as it makes you immune to your Fetus bombs, deals 3 times the already high Ipecac damage, AND gets the massive flat bonus Dr. Fetus gets from combining with poison effects.)
Just tested - in either case Technology overrides and there is no difference in stats from which you picked up first.
Interesting - I will have to test this out.
In playing the run live, I was initially bummed that I got ipecac (I still get that and rubber cement confused) because of the airborne bombs issue. When I found dr. fetus, I was relieved because the shots went back to the ground. Does this mean the ground effect of dr fetus cannot be overridden by anything? e.g. tiny planet, etc.? I though that getting ipecac afterward might force dr fetus shots to fly.
The nicest thing aside from the damage was that dr fetus shots exploded on impact - waiting for your shots to potentially bounce back before they explode and hit you in the face can be a pain sometimes.
You seem to have an example in mind- what is it? The only time I've ever encounrted the order you pick up items mattering was because of game bugs - most of which were fixed in version 1.03.
Where the credit card should drop (Outside first treasure room) I found the Suicide King.
Apart from that, Great run. Very fun.
