When you uninstall Repentance+ and go back to Repentance, your Rep saves will be exactly as they were the last time you played Rep. Any Rep progress made on Rep+ will not be ported back.
Likewise, once you reinstall Rep+, you'll get your Rep+ exactly as you left them the last time you played Rep+. Any progress made on Rep will not be ported to your Rep+ saves.
This logic applies to all "switching versions of the game" scenario.
Doing it on Rep would unlock the achievement in Steam, and then pressing alt + F2 in the stats menu back in Rep+ would unlock the corresponding in-game secret (this command forces the game to read Steam achievements and unlock in-game content accordingly).
Thing is, this command doesn't make the corresponding completion marks visible nor does it cross out corresponding completed challenges.
But in your specific case, fortunately for you, that unlock isn't tied to any completion mark.
oooh yes true, what a good idea thank you very much
