online lagging really bad

Hello!
Me and my friend live in the same city in eu.
both with gigabit ftth connection, we get around 16ms in games like tekken and even less in other games when i host.

but playing isaac online sucks really bad: the game jumps from three green bars to one red bar constantly and there is like half a second of delay in movement for both of us.

any solution? port forwarding and such?

all the tboi online gameplay i have seen is laggy asf, it is just the way it is i guess.
i've only played once the online mode in my life and it was laggy also

both players need rly good connection to be playable, so it doesn't work well w/ people outside of ur regions

I do recall that the connection is p2p so unless there's something wrong w/ the connection between players or their PCs it should be fine. The game tries to compensate for lag so if 1 person in lagging everyone is

From my experience (East coast Canadian on wifi) it isn't too bad mostly just input delay, some days are worse than others but it depends heavily on who you're playing w/ I played w/ someone in the west coast states and it was terrible, someone in my own city was also pretty bad and another person in the states runs perfectly so it really is random
