D Infinity item: Can't change dice on Mac (Afterbirth+)

Hi everyone,
I'm playing The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on Mac, and I'm having trouble with the D Infinity item. On Windows, I know you can press the left Control key to change the dice effect, but it doesn’t work on my Mac.

I've checked the key bindings, and the drop key is set to left Control, but pressing it doesn't seem to do anything. I also tried other keys like Shift, Command, and Fn, but nothing worked.

Does anyone know how to fix this or if there’s another key combination for Mac? Any advice would be much appreciated!

You're describing the item as it was changed on Repentance, but you're playing on Afterbirth+, before the changes. You can't change the dice effect manually on AB+, it gives you a random one on each use.
