Save data resetting when activating steam cloud

First my save data from rebirth didn't port to repentance and following a tutorial to get it back i ended up changing "SteamCloud=1" to "SteamCloud=0" in "My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance\options.ini" it didn't work so no problem i just started with a new save but now i would like to play on mutliple computers so i need steam cloud but when i change "SteamCloud=" value to 1 and i launch the game it shows me no save, changing it back to 0 gives me back my save.

What should i do to activate steam cloud AND have my current save saved in it?

steam cloud should typically ask if you want to use your local save file or the cloud save.

you could fine where the save file is on your PC copy it then transfer it to different computer.

check various settings maybe accidently disabled steam cloud, right click binding of isaac from your library go to properties check if there is any options steam cloud related. you should be able to get that local file to save to steam cloud and just play your account from any computer.

in the end i decided to just activate steam cloud even if it make me start over a new save tahat's alright i wasn't very far in the game anyway
