Didn't get Rock Bottom after Boss Rush with Jacob and Esau

Me and my friends did do a multiplayer where i played Jacob and Esau and my friend and i noticed i didn't get rock bottom like i was suppose to after boss rush so i went to try and get it in a solo run and still didn't get it after beating boss rush. has anyone else experienced this and know the cause for this?

Why would you get rock bottom after a boss rush? It was a seeded run? Otherwise i don't think there is any corelation between the two
