Why're people complaining about Proptosis sucking?

it's like a poor man's Polyphemus, but they're both the same thing essentially.
It's like comparing Ben and Jerry's to the Generic Store Brand, they're both the same thing except one has fancy packaging.

Who's complaining about Proptosis sucking? It's a great item. Yeah, it doesn't have Polyphemus's sheer power, but it doesn't have a slow rate of fire, either.

I've seen people saying Proptosis is awful and ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I actually prefer proptosis to Poly tbh, I mean, Poly is great and all but the tear rate can hurt a lot, where as proptosis doubles your damage but keeps your tear rate the way it is.

Granted, if you have Eve base damage proptosis won't do much for you, because you have Eve base damage. If you have any higher than that though it's just so incredibly good.

People who say it's bad don't understand how it works.

When you're close to the enemy, Proptosis is a x2 damage up, so I find it better than Polyphemus. It's one of the best items in the game.

Exactly. That just furthers my point that people who don't like it, don't know how it works.

I got proptosis with soy milk because of 3 dollar bill once... I'm lucky I had antigravity as well.
