Heavy lag / High speed game / Random Crashes and x360ce.exe

Just ran into an annoying issue and found a fix, so I thought I'd share it here just in case someone has the same problem.

I have a gamepad that is never recognized by games, so I use x360ce.exe to simulate a 360 controller. When I tried this on Rebirth, it worked fine.
However on launching the game for solo runs after that, I experienced either heavy lag or a considerably accelerated game leading to a crash a few minutes thereafter, and it's been occuring on every attempt whether in windowed or fullscreen, Vsync On or Off. Additionnally, the game would crash on every attempt to shut it down.

I fixed it by deleting all x360ce files (.exe, .ini, xinput1_3.dll) and disabling "controllerhotplug" in Options.ini. Not sure which did the trick though, but it's pretty lightweight work anyway.
So, that's it. Works fine now. Think about it if you use x360ce or have issues after using a controller.
