tainted ???'s item "hold"

i have every item in the game seen in the "items" tab excluding #715 "hold" what do i do?

Hold isn't and shouldn't be required or found through any other item unless you are playing on a very old version of Repentance.
At the very least it would be automatically added to the number of items you've seen if you play T.??? at least once.

The items surrounding Hold are Sumptorium and Keeper's Sack, are you sure you aren't missing one of those instead?

I checked on Repentance and Repentance+ and as of the most recent patches 'Hold' isn't required for the collection page and shouldn't appear on it.
It would appear inbetween Sumptorium and Keeper's Sack but it doesn't anymore.

Hold would only appear on the collection page in the very earliest patches of the game.

Then Hold is not in fact the item you are missing. Show us the empty entry and someone will tell you what it actually is.

It can't be item with "ID 715" : it's Hold and it's not on the grid. Look at the notes at the bottom of the page.

According to the wiki (linked in the post you quoted), that's Keeper's Kin, not Hold.
