Why isn’t the r key working?

I’m on a steam deck (lcd version) and I’m trying to use the r key in runs (not the item), but it just doesn’t work. I’ve tried all the controller shortcuts, such as L1 l2 r1 r2, and both joysticks and bumpers. I’ve also tried mapping r to one of the back buttons, but all that does is zoom the camera in and out. I’m playing repentance+ , And using reactionAPI, reaction_port_pack, external item descriptions, enhanced boss bars, completion mark reminder, planetarium chance, regret pedestals, timemachine, unique MEGAIsaacs, unique Minisaacs, visible challenge unlocks, voiding effect, and the dad beast mods.
