Do mods disable Steam achievements?

TL;DR: If i install mods can i still get Steam Achievements? I already beat moms heart.


Hi! Im just getting started in the game and i loving it so far, right now i beated moms heart for the third time and i was wondering if modding disable Steam achievements?

Ive been reading about this here and there and i found that mods only disable achievements till you beat mom at least once, so that wouldnt be a problem, but i wasnt sure if that was talking just about in game achievements/secrets, or about STEAM achievements too, so i just want a clarification about that pls!!

im aiming to get Dead God one day so i dont want my steam achievements disabled just for installing mods, im just interested in one mod for now, well, technically two, "External Descriptions" and the " Mod menu mod" for the external descriptions management, i did already installed those two actually, and i wanted to know if that disable my steam achievements, or if i have to uninstall the mods to enable my achievements again or smt like that.

i have same mods and achievments are working. also you can get any item unlock with mods and check in steam for new achievment

Mods prevent unlocks/achievements if enabled before unlocking the Womb on that save (in-game secret number 4, first Mom kill). They prevent nothing past that point. What the mods do is irrelevant.
