i cant use mods in isaaac

hello, i tried to put funny mods in isaac, mods like exploding when i die or doing the Specialist dance whenever i find a good item, can someone help me pls?

Are you playing on Repentance+? Because if so, then that MAY be the problem. You might have also not enabled mods in the mod tab on the menu.

Workshop support is added by the Afterbirth+ expansion. Workshop mods can therefore only be used on Afterbirth+, Repentance, and Repentance+.

If you're on Rebirth or Afterbirth, forget about the workshop and lua mods entirely. Check moddingofisaac.com instead. Don't expect too much from Rebirth/AB mods though, modding is quite limited on those versions.
