Unfortunately, experience showed such a failsafe is required.
Edit:
Checked the bundle store page. The bundle itself doesn't provide a discount (as explained above), but its parts themselves are currently discounted.
So everything seems fine.
So overall, it's not better nor worse, but the exact same.
Can you please elaborate? I've been following the products for quite a while now and I never figured out how to get everything at the lowest price possible. For example, I see that Rebirth is $4.94 USD and Afterbirth is $5.49 USD but the Complete Bundle costs $26.46 USD.
I'm worried that if I purchase them separately I might not be able to get Repentance, Repentance+ and Afterbirth+ since they are listed "N/A" (although in their own pages they soy that base game is required).... So, am I forced to pay full $26 USD to get everything or Just $10 USD will make for it?
You worry too much.
If you only get Rebirth and AB on their own first, then get the bundle, Steam will not make you pay for things you already own. You'll only pay for the missing pieces, so AB+ and Rep.
But check the prices again, compare what Rebirth and AB cost on their own with their prices in the bundle. They're identical.
If you intend to buy them all anyway, there's no point getting parts separately. In the end you will own the same things for the same price.
